New Orleans in January

A nice respite from the blistery NYC cold to a charming city with 60 degree weather. Delicious food adventures made sweeter with the southern hospitality that I had heard so much about. Hello's & thank you's were in abundance along with patient and attentive waiters. Color was everywhere...and I've never seen a city more proud to wear their colors. Gold, purple, and green were woven around balconies, painted on window shutters, and found on scarves. If you're from a big city and need time to slow down a little or maybe you're from a smaller town and want a taste of a more colorful life, go visit New Orleans. It charmed the hell out of me and I can't wait to go back.
